Special Thanks to the Judges

As always, before a big event you worry if it will go according to plan. For me, it was “will the show live up to my dreams and expectations?”.  At first I was unsure, but when you work with such a extraordinarily talented and professional group of people that sacrificed so much of their time the answer is “of course it will”.  With that being said I have to give a belated, but well deserved thank you to all of the magnificent members of the panel that made  the “New Face 2011” contest such an enjoyable experience that surpassed all of my greatest expectations.  In result to the success of this years “New Face 2011” we will be hosting a much larger scaled “New Face America 2012” later in the Spring which will be announced soon.  Special thanks again to Erriette Lenas former Model/Beauty Advisor, Suzana Halili Celebrity Hair/Makeup Artist, Marc Passera Editor of Super Models Unlimited Magazine, and David Ammirata Image Specialist/Coordinator for making this such an amazing experience.

7th Anniversary of Mike Kortoci Studio

Mike Kortoci Studio 7th Aniversary

This past Friday, the 14th, I hosted a party at my studio in appreciation of the people that I have worked with, including my clients, over the many years. I have had a studio in Northern NJ or NYC for the past seven years and it was a great experience to have everyone in one place at the same time; I hope to have the opportunity to see everyone again soon.

A long day at the Gym

Yesterday I spend the afternoon and evening at All-American Academies Gym, taking photos for corporate branding and their new advertising campaign.  The gym is owned by professional athlete and athletic trainer Scott Fishman.  The inside of the gym had a great vibe, thanks to the design which was done by Scott himself… they even have their own DJ to pump up workout sessions! I worked with a group of excellent models and professional athletes. Among the individuals I worked with were Paul A (a Willamina model and member of the Virginia Wolverines) as well as Lauren Amanda (her Facebook page). Below are a couple photos from the shoot; the second photo is the models with make-up artist Mubera and myself.
